The Manchester Confidential blog said I 'made large and bright three-dimensional shapes and hung them from the ceiling like a slightly surreal mobile, turning the stairwell into a dreamlike environment'.

I will be 'locked' in their installation box for over eight hours. I am going to work as hard as I can to fill the space in the most colourful way!

I will be in an exhibition in Bilbao, Spain on Saturday 13th December called Modorra_TRANS 08. The event is being organised by Suelen in Bilbao. I've been told it's like a magazine but in a real place! Can't wait! I have produced new work for this show so watch this space. I need to brush up on my Eurkera and Spanish.

The 'Yes It Is' Exhibition was a roaring success! We really couldn't of had a better private view. Everyone got involved in the drawing party and many a glass of mulled wine was had by all! More photographs to follow on my website.

GREAT NEWS! I have been selected as one of the 'Curator's Choices' as part of NOISE FESTIVAL 2008: The Best New Creative Talent. I will be part of their online showcase this year. My work will also be featured on their promotional poster. This is their website http://noisefestival.com/

Two Crisp Boxes

Today was my first day at the studio space. I was interviewed by the local press, met some of my new studio buddies, ate the biggest plate of chips and shivered! Oh yes and made the work in the photographs above. The first step in producing a three-dimensional cross-stitch! Signing off.

An Envelope For A Giant

My parcel is packed, wrapped and ready to go! It's been really good to work with cardboard again, even if it was just an envelope. I have a big supply source so hopefully you will see more cardboard creations in the very near future.

Young Illustrator's Award

SUPER NEWS! I have been shortlisted for the Young Illustrator's Award in conjunction with Illustrative 08! My work will be on display in Zürich, Switzerland alongside the nineteen other nominees. The final three winners have the chance to design a Swatch watch.

The Silverwood Shop

My work will be on display in Anne-Laure and Henrietta's wonderful new shop! Saturday is their first day of trading and they have organised activities, knitting workshops, live acts and the like from noon until night.

Globe Arts

After inspecting all the caves, damp sheds and cardboard boxes in my locality I have found the perfect studio space to house my embroidery needle, scalpel and knitting needles. A lick of paint and a bit of TLC should turn my cube into a good working environment. I move in mid-September. Watch this space!
