I have been assisting the wonderful set designers for Punchdrunk's latest immersive show. The Duchess of Malfi was a collaboration alongside the English National Opera. As you may or may not know Punchdrunk productions are different to the norm as the mask-clad audience walk around the set, rather than stay stationary and are encouraged to explore and investigate the set. During the time I worked on site (in a huge disused office block) I helped create a forest made of electrical cable trees, a mausoleum made of office furniture and a nurses' ward doused in TCP.
